GENERAL RENTAL AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Our job is to prepare and manage owner-occupied flats, with the aim of giving you the best possible stay.

2RF Homes applies these general terms and conditions of sale to all its accommodation and bookings. 

Each property benefits from standard cleaning, beds made on arrival, and hotel-quality linen and towels. We keep a close eye on consumables and equipment to make sure you have everything you need, including shower gel, shampoo and washing-up liquid.

CHECK-IN 

Arrivals are possible from 3pm. We will do our utmost to ensure that your accommodation is available as soon as possible and no later than 3pm. on the day of your arrival.

STAY EXTENSION AND CHECK-OUT

On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated by 11a.m. at the latest, unless late departure is exceptionally agreed. The keys you have been given must be returned according to the instructions we have given you.

For internal organisational reasons, requests to extend your stay or to leave late must be made at least 24 hours before the usual departure time, i.e. 11am the day before. Unfortunately, we will not be able to comply with your request after this time and will ask you to leave the flat on the date originally planned, no later than 11am. If necessary, a late departure may be charged.

The loss or disappearance of keys, or deposit in an unscheduled pitch, as well as departure after the scheduled time without notifying us, may result in the full amount of the deposit being retained or invoiced.

WARRANTY DEPOSIT 

When booking our accommodation, 2RF Homes reserves the right to apply a deposit to secure a booking. This deposit will only be applied to certain bookings. This deposit will be "pre-authorised" and "non-cashed" automatically to your credit card as a security deposit, via our Swikly or Stripe deposit system. The amount is set unilaterally by us, and must be paid in order to gain access to the flat. This sum will be released the day after your departure, after deduction of any damage, theft, omissions or breaches of these terms and conditions. In the event of damage or theft of a higher value, 2RF Homes reserves the right to withhold payment of a higher amount, equal to the amount of the loss suffered, and or to take legal action against the traveller who scanned their identity document during online check-in.

Please note that 2RF Homes will do its utmost to avoid any confusion about the operation of the security deposit, and will only withhold the deposit in extreme and necessary cases.

Our ambition is to welcome travellers who are sensitive to the need to respect their surroundings and neighbours, and to provide them with a pleasant, well-organised stay.

INVENTORY OF FIXTURES ON CHECK-IN

We will not carry out a formal inventory of fixtures with you on your arrival or departure. The accommodation will have been cleaned and checked by our teams prior to your arrival. When you arrive, please inform us immediately of any damage or shortcomings to avoid any confusion. In the event of any damage or inconvenience, our team will be happy to help you during your stay simply by calling or emailing us, as quickly as possible and within the limits of our opening hours.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT 

A deposit of 100% of the total cost of the stay is required at the time of booking, including payment of the stay, any tourist taxes, cleaning and linen costs, and any transaction fees. Payments can only be made by credit card via the payment platforms available on the website. For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the rental period, and on OTA (Online Tourism Agency) platforms such as Airbnb or Booking, payment can be made in several instalments when it is organised and monitored by the OTA platform at its level and according to its own internal rules.

USE OF ACCOMMODATION

The rented flat can under no circumstances be considered as your principal residence and must be returned to 2RF Homes on simple request without delay, after the reservation has been completed. It will be available from the date of your check-in at 3pm to the date of your check-out at 11am.  

The furnished properties available for rent are exclusively for seasonal rental, as a temporary residence and for the pleasure of the lessee. As such, this rental is excluded from the scope of application of law no. 89-462 of 6 July 1989.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES

2RF Homes cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for any illegal activity carried out in one of our properties, including prostitution, handling stolen goods, trafficking or the sale of narcotics. In the event of any doubt, we will be obliged to cancel the reservation without notice and the police will be immediately and systematically notified. 

The deposit may also be withheld to compensate and manage the situation.

CANCELLATION 

In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before arrival, the deposit paid will be refunded in full.

In the event of modification, late cancellation (less than 14 days before arrival) or no-show on the scheduled arrival date, the full balance will be due and the agency will be able to re-let the accommodation immediately.

LINEN 

All linen is provided: sheets, towels, napkins and tea towels. We always provide a double bed for two adults. 

We work with a supplier who cleans household linen in an ecological and industrial way, using virucidal products and with a policy of respect for the environment at the heart of its priorities.

The cost of cleaning and provision of linen is included in the cleaning fee attached to the booking.

CLEANING 

The accommodation must be returned in a suitable condition, with the dishwasher empty, the crockery clean and tidy, the oven and microwave cleaned and the rubbish bins emptied. If the accommodation is dirty beyond normal use, or if the kitchen has not been cleaned on departure, an additional charge for cleaning may be requested and will be payable, on the basis of photographs, to cover the cost of restoring the accommodation to its original state.

MISCELLANEOUS RULES

Smoking is strictly prohibited in communal areas and inside flats. If you have a terrace or balcony, you may smoke there, but you must make sure that you do not throw cigarettes on the ground or at neighbours, and that you close the door behind you to prevent odours from entering the accommodation and bothering other travellers later on.

Parties, and more generally any music played through a loudspeaker or any other device, are strictly forbidden out of respect for the neighbours. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that most of the flats are located in buildings used for residential purposes and we are counting on everyone's kindness and respect for the residents. 

2RF Homes reserves the right, in the event of a serious breach of these principles of good community living, and non-compliance with these rules, to unilaterally cancel the reservation and consider eviction without delay.

INTERNET / WI-FI NETWORKS 

Internet / Wi-Fi access is included in the rental at no extra cost, with high-speed access controlled and verified by us.

FORGOTTEN ITEM

If you forget a personal item in your accommodation after your stay, we can return it to you for a fee of 30 euros.

2RF HOMES' LIABILITY

In the event of force majeure making the use or enjoyment of the accommodation impossible, such as water damage for example, we will do everything in our power to allocate you, with your prior agreement, another accommodation with similar or superior characteristics. 

If the new accommodation offered is not to your liking, we will refund the full cost of your stay with our deepest apologies.
